Facebook Analysis: 'Toy Story 3' Outpaces 'Shrek Forever After'

Toy Story 3 had another banner day on Facebook. The Disney/Pixar film's most active page saw a massive 23,307 fan increase, pushing its total to an impressive 1,106,715. By comparison, Shrek Forever After saw a 2,391 fan bump on the Thursday before its release, giving it a total of 711,887.

Jonah Hex saw its fan count increase by a paltry 292 fans for a total of 14,470. The Warner Bros. release has the lowest pre-release fan count of any major studio release this summer. It's also not likely to fair much better post-release, since word of mouth is already toxic.
